Tiraspol, 4 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A new Transneft Oil Pumps plant, which was launched on 25 April at Chelyabinsk's Stankomash industrial park, will purchase components from Pridnestrovie's machine building enterprise Elektromash. This refers to the supply of ВАОВ4 induction motors, according to Elektromash's official website.
They will be used for assembling oil pumps designed for oil pipe-lines. The first contract implies the supply of 13 ВАОВ4 motors with a capacity of 315−2,000 kW. Three of them have already been supplied ahead of schedule, with seven more already manufactured and ready for shipment.
Elektromash has also completed an individual order for the development and assembly of an АВН-2500/10−6 induction motor with a capacity of 2,500 kW. The Pridnestrovian plant has not produced such motors before.
Elektromash is one of the biggest manufacturer of alternating current machines available in explosion and general purpose industrial versions. The plant produces machines designed for coal mining, chemical, oil, gas, mining and metallurgical industries.
