Tiraspol, 8 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Under circumstances when the foreign exchange market sees a considerable excess of demand over supply, the country's enterprises require mechanisms of minimising the implications of this imbalance for their operations. One of such mechanisms, according to the chair of the government, may be the legalisation of legal entities' currency.

«We will submit a proposal to the next government's meeting providing for the opportunity of converting cash currency into non-cash," noted Pavel Prokudin.

According to him, the capability of legal entities to keep cash currency on their non-cash accounts with the Pridnestrovian banks may be restricted on a number of parameters. Thus, the government is to determine the mechanism's time limits and effects, and the maximum amount to be legalised in this way.

Pavel Prokudin added that the government is yet to analyse the PMR's legislation regulating foreign currency operations. The legalisation mechanism may be drafted in the form of a corresponding bill and submitted to the Supreme Council. «Something should be done, and the government cannot remain an outside observer. Maybe, we need to meet businesspersons who have issues at the Ministry of Economic Development. They may propose some additional measures," Pavel Prokudin summed up.
