The PMR President visited the Supreme Council today. The purpose of the visit is not related to lawmaking and the activities of the Pridnestrovian parliament. The President arrived to congratulate the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov on his birthday. The birthday person turned 57.
"You have come a long way professionally. You occupy the responsible post of the head of the legislative branch of power, a representative body of state power, which is formed by the will of the people and creates laws by which the people and the state live. I would like to note the good interaction with other branches of power. I wish you to continue to prove yourself, to pass laws for the benefit of the Pridnestrovian society, to take care of yourself and the team, health and family well-being," the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky wished Alexander Korshunov.
Alexander Korshunov has been engaged in parliamentary activities since 2010. Deputy of the Supreme Council of three convocations – V, VI and VII. He became the head of the republic’s legislature in February 2019.
