Tiraspol, 15 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Moldavian State District Power Plant increased electric power output by 18% in 2015 as compared to the previous year. The output increase and, accordingly, the increase in maximum availability are connected with increase in consumers' demand for the electric power, the Information and Public Relations Department of the JSC Moldavian State District Power reported to Plant Novosti Pridnestrovya.
5-day extension of the heating season triggered the increase in thermal power output in 2014−2015 and the beginning of the heating season of 2015−2016 9 days earlier last year due to the lower temperatures during these periods.
Summing up the results of 2015, CEO of the JSC Moldavian State District Power Plant Alexey Shirma emphasized that in order to increase the output efficiency systematic work on safety, conditions and working standards improvement was conducted at the enterprise.
«The result is that in November, 2015 the enterprise received the Labor Safety Compliance Certificate of the National Certification System of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic testifying that labor protection in the JSC Moldavian State District Power Plant conforms with the state standards," Alexey Shirma told.
He also noted that in 2016 the strategic field of the power plant would remain reliable and uninterrupted power supply of the consumer with both thermal and electric power and modernization of the major equipment.
