Information about the trade turnover between Pridnestrovie and Ukraine was published on the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry's official Facebook page. The statistics show considerable decrease of the total import and export from Pridnestrovie through the territory of Ukraine
According to the Foreign Ministry's information, the export turnover from Pridnsetrovie through the territory of Ukraine decreased by 1 million 166 thousand USD in February of this year as compared to the 2014. The import decreased from 18 million 517 thousand down to 5 million 484 thousand USD during the same period (in February of 2014 as compared to 2015).
The total trade turnover during January-February of 2015 decreased down to 15 million 239 thousand USD while this sum amounted to 40 million 874 thousand USD during the same period of 2014.
To be noted that, the Border Guard and the Customs Service of Ukraine tightened control over the goods delivered to the Pridnestrovie's economic agents through the Ukraine territory in February and then and in September-December of 2014. Both now and earlier, the consignees must provide the certificates on registration in the Republic of Moldova.
