The President visited the information center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

0-800-22-800 is a hotline for questions related to energy supply to citizens during a state of emergency. It was opened at the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the end of December on the instructions of the President. More than 12 thousand calls have been received on the single multi-channel number over three weeks. Citizens have dialed it 669 times over the past 24 hours. If at first most of the calls were related to the provision of firewood, then Pridnestrovians most often call about this with the launch of the rolling blackout system (five hundred consultation requests and messages about accidents on the power grid yesterday). In smaller numbers, but still, calls are received with questions about the price of gas and electricity, the work of kindergartens, medical institutions, heating points and temporary stay of citizens who find themselves in a difficult life situation. The line operates around the clock. A shift consists of seven employees of various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There have been no general interruptions yet – calls are coming in non-stop, Vadim Krasnoselsky was told today, who visited the call center. Territorial information centers are working – subordinate to state administrations, but directly interacting with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (these lines do not operate around the clock, but during working hours). The total number of all requests is approaching 16 thousand. Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in whether comfortable conditions have been created for employees, how interaction with various departments and the system for monitoring the execution of applications have been organized. The President expressed gratitude to the personnel for their service.
