A meeting with the UNDP delegation was held at the PMR MFA

Topics of discussion include the implementation of projects to improve social infrastructure and assistance to vulnerable groups of the population

Tiraspol, June 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Alexander Stetsyuk and the delegation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The Pridnestrovian diplomat noted the long-term project activities of the UNDP, which have a practical orientation, and expressed readiness to continue interaction, the press service of the PMR Foreign Ministry reports.

The interlocutors discussed the results of the organization’s work in Pridnestrovie for the first half of this year, as well as plans for further activities in 2024. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of projects in the field of improving social infrastructure, supporting entrepreneurship and helping vulnerable groups of the population.

“The parties noted the positive role that the implementation of these initiatives will play and exchanged views on their possible parameters. Some problematic aspects were also touched upon within the framework of interaction with individual UN agencies,” the website of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry notes.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to continue working contacts on topical issues.
