Vadim Krasnoselsky held a discussion meeting with deputies and social activists of Slobodzeya

The President spent the first half of the working day in Slobodzeya district. Vadim Krasnoselsky met with local deputies. The purpose of the event is to discuss issues related to the life of the town and the region, as well as topics that concern all residents of the republic. The Head of the district, the Supreme Council representatives, and social activists were invited to the discussion. The conversation was organized in the meeting hall of the city district council. The existing problem of a shortage of qualified personnel in local governments was identified in the course of the meeting. The reason is the low level of wages – from technical workers to the heads of village and district councils. The situation developed in such a way that the salaries of employees of state administrations and village councils of Slobodzeya district are lower than in other districts. The President listened to the interlocutors, noting that he would study the issue and based on the conclusions made would give appropriate instructions.

The participants of the meeting discussed the reasons for subsidization of the budget of the largest agricultural region of the republic. They talked about the fact that Slobodzeya villages are being urbanized, improved, developed infrastructurally and require new approaches to life support mechanisms and tools. They focused on the issue of creating jobs in the agricultural sector. The measures to support both large agricultural producers and peasant farms and subsidiary plots were discussed.

The fate of the local Polytechnic College is another issue that worries Slobodzeya residents. It is planned as part of the ongoing optimization of the system of secondary vocational education to close it, sending students and teachers to other educational institutions. Deputies and public activists asked to explain the purpose and essence of the changes being made. They voiced their suggestions. One of them is to change the status and jurisdiction of the educational institution. It is proposed to reduce the term of study, and update the list of specialties. The interlocutors of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic emphasized the social significance of the Slobodzeya educational institution. Vadim Krasnoselsky listened attentively to the voiced arguments and scheduled a meeting on this issue for tomorrow to work out a final decision.

The Head of the administration of Chobruchi spoke about plans to create a line for the processing of solid domestic waste on the basis of the local solid waste landfill. There are design developments, negotiations are underway with potential investors. The road leading to the landfill is in good condition. The only major problem is the lack of electricity. About two million rubles are needed to build a power line. The supply of electricity in this area in the future will allow the development of another direction – land reclamation. Four agricultural enterprises, which use 600 hectares of land, are ready to make them irrigated if such a technical possibility arises. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers the initiative useful. It will be instructed to work out the issue. Various sources of financing will be considered, for example, the investment program of the state unitary enterprise "Unified Distribution Electric Grids" or the program for the development of the reclamation complex of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Domestic politics and geopolitics, ensuring the security of the citizens of Pridnestrovie, relations with neighboring states, the negotiation process are among the areas of the conversation held in Slobodzeya. The topic of prevented terrorist attacks was mentioned. Vadim Krasnoselsky informed about the details, voiced his vision of the situation, spoke about the response measures. They discussed economic aspects and issues related to ensuring food security and self-sufficiency of the republic, which the PMR President considers one of the foundations of statehood.
