The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR on the import of medicines: the Moldovan side continues to demonstrate non-constructive approaches

A meeting of expert (working) groups on health issues was held today

Tiraspol, February 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting of profile specialists of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on health issues was held at the OSCE Mission Office in Tiraspol.  The representatives of mediators and observers took part in the negotiation process as well, and the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports.
The initiative to hold the meeting of the working groups was due to the ongoing difficulties in importing important medicines to the territory of Pridnestrovie.
“Despite the shortage of medicines against the backdrop of a worsening epidemiological situation, the Moldovan side continues to demonstrate unconstructive approaches, refusing to expand the range of medicines at the expense of Russian and Ukrainian manufacturers, as well as to optimize unnecessary bureaucratic procedures used in regarding the pharmaceutical companies of Pridnestrovie," the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the provision of medical (rehabilitation) treatment to Pridnestrovian children diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
