Tiraspol, June 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Both Moldova and the OSCE do not cooperate with Pridnestrovie in the investigation of the arson attempt of the Military Commissariat in Tiraspol. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev spoke about this today on the air of the Russia-24 TV channel.
He recalled that the Pridnestrovian investigating authorities established a connection between the terrorist attack that occurred on May 13 and representatives of the Moldovan special services.
“That's why we offered the Moldovan side, as well as the mediators represented by the OSCE to come to our Prosecutor's Office to study the case file, exchange information, and help establish all the facts of the case. But they declined,” Ignatiev said.
According to him, there are terrorist attacks, that track lead to Ukraine. The last one happened on June 5, when explosives were dropped from a quadcopter on one of the storage sites for military equipment of the Pridnestrovian Peacekeeping Forces.
“Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the situation remains tense and the high, yellow terrorist alert is still in force in the republic,” the Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister said, answering a question from a Russian TV channel.
Recall that at the end of April, some terrorist attacks took place in the PMR: on the building of the Ministry of State Security of the republic, on a radio and television center near the village of Mayak, as well as on a military unit in the village of Parkani. After that, a red terrorist alert was declared in the republic. On May 25, the President of Pridnestrovie, Vadim Krasnoselsky, introduced a high, yellow terrorist alert instead of a red one by his decree.
On May 13, two Molotov cocktails were thrown into the building of the Military Commissariat in Tiraspol at night. After a while, one of the attackers was arrested.
