Tiraspol, March 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is very restrained about Moldova's promises to pass medicines to Pridnestrovie without difficulty. On March 24, at a meeting of political representatives of the Republic of Moldova and the PMR, certain parameters of interaction were registered to prevent interruptions in the supply of medicines, including those that are not registered in the Republic of Moldova`s state register. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and clarify the technical aspects at the level of specialized expert (working) groups with the involvement of representatives of companies importing pharmaceutical products.
However, the Foreign Ministry of our republic intends to wait until it becomes real, not in words, but deeds.
“There is no reason to say that something has been decided until the physical delivery of medicines. My colleague (Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Moldova Oleg Serebryan - ed. note) is a little fast-forward. We have heard theses that many issues have been resolved. But, as we know, the signing of a document does not yet mean its implementation. There have been no deliveries of medicines in the new format so far,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev commented to the First Pridnestrovian TV channel.
According to him, this topic was only discussed at the last meeting. For now, there is only a promise of the unhindered passage of goods of this profile. The deliveries have not yet been made.
“We only discussed this issue, a representative of the relevant body of the Republic of Moldova was present at our meeting of political representatives. He gave us certain guarantees that they had developed a mechanism that would allow us to supply medicines that are not in the Moldovan registries. Only practice will show whether or not this mechanism will work. We will see this shortly," the head of the Foreign Ministry explained.
