Vitaly Ignatiev discussed the blockade of Pridnestrovian vehicles with the British Ambassador

Diplomats discussed the current state of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova

Tiraspol, September 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Steven Fisher, the press service of the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The diplomats discussed the current state of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Particular attention was paid to the ban on the entry and movement of Pridnestrovian vehicles on the territory of Ukraine from September 1 this year.

Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized ever-increasing problem, which requires an early resolution. According to him, the restrictions initiated at the request of the Republic of Moldova have already led to the emergence of a whole range of humanitarian problems, including the impossibility of the PMR's special transport leaving for medical institutions of Ukraine for urgent medical care.

Also, the head of the PMR Foreign Ministry noted that the Pridnestrovian side expected from the Republic of Moldova to fulfill all the obligations undertaken within the framework of the package of Berlin + agreements in order to resolve social and humanitarian issues in the interests of the people.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for further work on the settlement of Moldovan-Pridnestrovian relations. Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized the need to restore the stable functioning of the "Permanent Meeting ..." site in accordance with the principles and procedures of the negotiation process.
