Tiraspol, April 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Сlaus Neukirch and the head of the European Union delegation to the Republic of Moldova Peter Michalko. Both diplomats are considered by the head of the Pridnestrovian state as experienced negotiators. The close contact with them is extremely important, the PMR President noted.
According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, in situations of pandemic, all meetings are held much less often, and considering the situation, there are more and more reasons for discussion. The PMR President reminded: “It seems that the Pridnestrovian-Moldovan negotiations have been ice-bounded for almost two years, and it’s too early to expect for a thawing relations.” Because of this, all unresolved problems are arranging in layers, and after each new Moldovan officials’ unilateral decision, the situation is aggravated, the head of state believes. For instance, the President reminded the blocking of Pridnestrovian enterprises’ accounts in Moldovan banks.
“We are told that Moldovan banks are independent from the government and absolutely independent in their decisions (according to European norms requests). But what about in practice? Is it possible the bank will withdraw oneself from clients that ask for official registration for not only legal, but also a transparent implementation of export marketing activities? What should our enterprises, which are exporting goods around the world, do in such situation? Should they carry money in suitcases?” – the PMR President commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.
Vadim Krasnoselsky stressed that the Pridnestrovian leadership won’t allow making from Pridnestrovie a reservation area.
The PMR President also noted that, asserting the rights and interests of the republic residents, political as well as diplomatic tools in all its diversity will be used by Pridnestrovie.
“If someone believes that it’s possible to illegally deprive PMR citizens of liberty without any reaction and consequences, then these people are deeply mistaken. Every PMR citizen is under the Pridnestrovian state protection: by means of European diplomacy or without it,” Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, reminded the Pridnestrovian citizens’ abduction by the Moldovan security forces.
