2845 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment, according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 1305 of them are being treated at home, 1478 are in infectious diseases hospitals (within four days, due to the deteriorating health condition, 67 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment). The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals in a few days increased from 63% to 88%. 1675 beds have been deployed for coronavirus patients at the moment. The reception of COVID-patients is resumed at the outpatient clinic of the village of Parkany designed for 44 people from today. The Tirotex dispensary is not currently used as a branch of the infectious diseases hospital: it has been decided that somatic departments will function on its basis. According to statistics, the number of citizens who are hard to tolerate the coronavirus is increasing. The condition of 17% of patients (252 people) is assessed by doctors as serious, 55 are patients in intensive care units, and five are connected to mechanical ventilation devices. 71 residents of the republic in hospital conditions are awaiting the results of biomaterial samples taken from them in connection with suspicion of infection in the body.
