Tiraspol, February 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Vladislav Gudz won the first victory at the international A class tournament Adriatic Pearl in Montenegro. The capital's fighter was opposed by the Czech competitor Christian Hodovanets. The Pridnestrovian proved to be stronger and reached the semifinals of the tournament. At ½ Vladislav Gudz will meet with the Ukrainian boxer, the European Championship finalist Vyacheslav Brigadenko. Maxim Chertykovtsev is at the European start together with our boxers. Their coach evaluated the level of the competition.
“The competition is very representative. Boxers from 15 countries gathered here in Montenegro. The competition is serious, since this is an international tournament of A class. Consider this the stage in the preparation for the World Youth Championship, which will be held in Poland from April 10-24,” Maxim Chertykovtsev, Honored coach of the PMR explained.
Another boxer from Tiraspol, Daniil Slepoy, lost to an Uzbek boxer in the 56 kg weight category.
The competition is ongoing. Representatives of fair boxing Kristina Kiper in the weight category of 60 kg and Daria Kozorez in the weight category over 81 kg await their ring entry.
