The PMR President had a working conversation with the Russian Ambassador

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov. The conversation, organized in compliance with security measures, was held at the presidential executive office. The PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev took part in it. The interlocutors discussed development of the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Pridnestrovie, Russia and the world, exchanged views on the effectiveness of measures taken to prevent it. They talked about the course of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova that became much more complicated in the context of the pandemic. Various aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation was mentioned. The contacts of the PMR leadership with Russian diplomacy continue to develop, despite the time constraints caused by the worldwide spread of COVID-19. The interlocutors agreed to continue cooperation in the working order, supporting telephone communications and other accessible and safe forms of communication.
