Tiraspol, January 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In Moldova, there was kidnapped a citizen of Pridnestrovie, Andrey Samoniy, a former law enforcement officer of the PMR. His wife informed about her husband`s disappearance on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the woman, on January 14, 2020, she and her husband went to the village of Senatovka, Republic of Moldova. Three unknown persons approached them and informed Andrey Samoniy that he was allegedly a witness in a certain criminal case. A PMR citizen was kidnapped and taken away in an undisclosed location.
Samoniy`s family knows practically nothing about his whereabouts for about a week.
The PMR Foreign Ministry sent a letter to the Moldovan Political Representative, Alexander Flenchea, demanding that they inform immediately about the location of Andrey Samoniy and his state of health. A copy of the letter was also sent to international mediators of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
