Tiraspol, May 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Internal Affairs presented new details of the case of the arson of the Military Commissariat on May 13 in Tiraspol. Paymaster has been identified.
Ivan, also known as Ion, a man connected with the law enforcement agencies of Moldova, got on the customs camera at one of the checkpoints on the border on April 23.
Investigators identified Ivan's "curator": Ion Lozan is a citizen of Moldova, born on September 11, 1992.
“As it turned out during operational investigations, the so-called curator used to often visit the PMR. The largest number of his movements was recorded in April 2022. To comply with secrecy measures and his security, the so-called curator crossed the state border of the PMR through different checkpoints. He traveled in different cars, while accompanied by different people,” the MSS officer said.
Alexander Dimov, a resident of Chisinau, one of the participants in the arson of the Military Commissariat in Tiraspol, told Pridnestrovian investigators about the "curator" Ivan. He was arrested on May 18th.
Pridnestrovian law enforcers reveal the identity of Alexander Dimov's accomplice. He is Vitaly Tsybyrnak, a citizen of Moldova, and a resident of Chisinau, he is 49 years old. They know for a fact that the arson of the Military Commissariat is not Vitaly's first crime.
“It has been established that Vitaly had extensive criminal records. Previously he was tried for murder. Currently unemployed. He leads an asocial lifestyle,” the MSS officer explained.
To date, the investigation knows the identities of all the participants in the terrorist attack near the Military Commissariat in Tiraspol.
Recall: on May 13, at about 4:15 am, a car stopped at one of the enterprises` oil depots, from which an unknown man got out, threw an incendiary device towards the object, and disappeared. The burning grass was quickly extinguished.
About half an hour later, two petrol bombs were thrown into the Republican Military Commissariat building. One of them flew on the sidewalk from a blow, the second one stuck in the window bars. The fire was promptly extinguished by security personnel.
Thanks to the amber alert and footage from street cameras, it was soon possible to establish the make, color, and also the numbers of the car which the attackers drove.
The investigation established that there is a foreign track in the case: the special services of Moldova are involved in it.
Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky suggested that the Moldovan Prosecutor's Office get acquainted with the investigation of the terrorist attack near the Military Commissariat. The head of state stressed that Pridnestrovie had all the evidence of the Moldovan special services` involvement in it.
