Tiraspol, January 17./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky in his address to the state authorities instructed to develop Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation.
Work through civil society institutions and public organizations to protect the rights of compatriots and citizens of Russia in Pridnestrovie is among the tasks.
The Official Representation of the PMR in the Russian Federation has been instructed to continue work in the field of protection of rights and interests of Pridnestrovie citizens living in Russia.
Another direction is systematic work to expand the number of grounds for registration of Russian citizenship in a simplified order for the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie. To date, about 150,000 people live in the Republic, having received passports of Moldova or Ukraine for any circumstances, but wishing to acquire Russian citizenship. Earlier Vadim Krasnoselsky took the initiative to grant Russian citizenship to the residents of Pridnestrovie without having to renounce citizenship of another country. The proposal of the President of the PMR was approved in the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
Among the instructions, there is an expansion of Pridnestrovian exports to the Russian market. An important aspect in this direction is interaction with Russian regions.
