Pridnestrovian export to Russia increased by 19%

At the same time, imports from the Russian Federation grew by more than 15%

Tiraspol, December 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to the results of 11 months of the current year, the volume of Pridnestrovian exports amounted to $ 598.6 million, which is 7.6% lower than the comparable figure for 2018. At the same time, excluding supplies of ferrous metals, this indicator increased by 11.1% (up to $ 404.6 million).

Imports of goods (taking into account the operations of individuals) amounted to $ 1,093.1 million (-0.4% compared to January-November 2018).

Press release from the Ministry of Economic Development reported that that dynamics has led to a negative allotment balance of foreign trade operations in the amount of -494.5 million dollars.

During this period, export of fuel and energy products increased by 21%, food sales increased by 9.1%. The republic began to sell more mineral products and products of the engineering industry.

In January-November 2019, exports to the Russian Federation increased by 19%. Today, the share of the Russian Federation in Pridnestrovian exports has increased to 13.2%. The supply of goods to Moldova increased by 16.7%. The decline in exports was noted in countries such as Ukraine, Romania, Poland.

In the structure of import operations, the largest share traditionally fell on fuel and energy products, the supply of which increased to $ 448.8 million (+ 12.0% to the base level of 2018).

The amount of engineering products imported into the republic in monetary terms amounted to $ 132.7 million (+ 10.4%). Food imports rose 1.8% to $ 125.1 million.

Most of the imported products came to the republic from Russia (45.9% of total imports), Ukraine (15.3%), Moldova (8.9%).
