Rybnitsa, December 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The development of Pridnestrovian tourism became one of the conference topics held in Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University.
Students presented a project on the Geo-Information System discipline dedicated to the tourism of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district. This is a service based on Google Maps. On the showing there are city and district attractions, catering locations, shops, parks and other facilities.
Photos and a short description are in Russian and English languages, the press service of Rybnitsa State Administration reports.
“Now we see the attention paid to the state of attractions, urban development, infrastructure. Such resources will popularize certain areas, locations, specific attractions, as well as contribute to the attraction of tourists”, Deputy Head of the State Administration, Yuri Moldovsky believes. He also recalled that the development of tourism at the level of cities and districts was given special attention in the PMR Development Strategy 2019-2026.
The participants of the conference considered the possibility of adding tourist routes to the map. The improvement of Internet resource will be continued.
Another map – the pollution of the city – was presented during the discussion of the issue of ecology. Students noted that Rybnitsa twice had become the cleanest and greenest city but spontaneous storage of garbage negatively affects both the appearance of the settlement and the ecological component.
Representatives of the PSU have taken initiatives to destroy existing landfills and prevent the emergence of new ones. The announced proposals will be considered by city management.
