Tiraspol, October, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The VII Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum ended in Tiraspol. Commenting on its results, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik said that the forum outlined new prospects, and thanked the guests for their interest. The minister emphasized that the forum was an important event for the PMR and for every citizen of republic.
He noted that the Government of Pridnestrovie had done a lot of work to attract investment.
“The investments growth is 146%and it is a very serious achievement for PMR. For investments, it is necessary to solve a whole range of problems: there must be capital, there must be personnel, there must be a system of continuous improvement,” Sergey Obolonik said.
He said that within the framework of the forum, letters of intent had been signed on four projects.
“They are connected both engineering and agriculture related to hydroponics,” Sergey Obolonik said.
According to the Russian Federation International Trade Development Council Chairman Maxim Chereshnev, after the adoption of the new investment law, the state has made a huge step, the results of which can be felt in the future.
“During the year of working with the Pridnestrovie Government team, the Ministry of Economic Development, we saw that Pridnestrovie had economic and human potential. This is the most important thing that makes you to come back here again and again. I am sure that today the participants of the event would be able to see for themselves,” Maxim Chereshnev shared his impressions.
