Vadim Krasnoselsky: Pridnestrovie is ready for recognition, this will happen with international partners’ readiness

The PMR President said that Pridnestrovians would develop their state in the meantime

Tiraspol, September, 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski said at a meeting with compatriots in Moscow that Pridnestrovie was ready for international recognition, and that would happen when international partners were ready.

“The fact of recognition is a technical matter. We are ready for recognition. When all external players are ready, then it will take place. But we need to continue to develop our state, because they only recognize the strong and self-sufficient ones,” Vadim Krasnoselski shared his vision.

The head of state told compatriots that the international recognition issue was often raised during discussions with foreign colleagues, representatives of the OSCE mission and participants in the “5 + 2” negotiation format (Pridnestrovie and Moldova being parties; Russia, Ukraine, the OSCE being mediators; the US and EU being observers)

“The factor of non-recognition or recognition is very subjective and does not fully depend on us. But the internal component depends on you and me - peace, the rule of law, enforcement of the law, environmental balance and social justice,” Vadim Krasnoselski said.
