Tiraspol, September 5. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting with the Council of Europe delegation. As Press Service of the Foreign Ministry reports the Head of Confidence Building Measures Division of the Council of Europe’s Directorate of Political Affairs Anna Capello and the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Moldova William Massolin participated in it.
Pridnestrovie during the meeting was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Stetsyuk and the Minister of Education Tatyana Loginova.
Alexander Stetsyuk noted the long-term constructive and focused on the solution of practical tasks interaction with the Council of Europe. According to him, with the assistance of the Council of Europe a number of projects in the field of health care, educations and media are implemented.
Tatyana Loginova expressed gratitude for the support of skills development for teachers of foreign languages.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed interest in the further cooperation and in details discussed the possible directions of cooperation development.
The Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR Vyacheslav Kosinsky who also took part at the meeting discussed with the delegation of the Council of Europe the information on human rights dissemination possibility and the prospects of interaction between ombudsmen and civil society of Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
