Money transmissions for the first half of 2019 increased by 7.3%

Most of them were from Russia, the others from EU

Tiraspol, 29 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovia/. For the first half of 2019 individuals’ money transfers in PMR is $48.39 million. It means that comparing the last year index this one has increased by 7.3% (or $3.28 million). This information is considered in PMR bank review which is published on the central bank official website.

The index of 2019 has become maximum after the result of 2014, when absolute money transmission record at the rate of $100.35 million was registered.

The biggest number of transfers has been from CIS – 66.6% or $32.23 million of the total amount. Money transmissions from EU consist of 15.3% or $7.38 million; from other states (accept of CIS and EU) -18.1% or $35.2 million.

Transactions have increased in all directions. For example, the transmissions from EU have grown up on $1.92 million or 35.2%.

The main partner is still Russian Federation from where transactions in the amount of $30.39 million   or 62.8% of the total sum have been made. Then follow Israel – $4.02 million (or 8,3%), USA- 2.39 million (4,9%), Italy – $1.56 million (3,2%) and Germany – $1.53 million (3,2%).

In general, according to the first half of 2019 statistics, ordering customers have become 115 countries.

For such period money transmissions from Pridnestrovie in the amount of $14.27 million have been recorded.

Top-10 money-get-countries are Russia, Ukraine, USA, Turkey, Abkhazia, Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania, Israel, and Uzbekistan. $13.21 million has gotten these states. The total of outgoing transactions is 92.9%. In addition, the biggest number of transactions has been made in RF – $8.06 million or 56.7%.
