Tiraspol, July 12. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the House of Formal Receptions the meeting of the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev with the delegation of intermediaries and observers in the international negotiation process took place. The PMR Foreign Ministry Press Service reports about the main subjects of the meeting.
Among foreign guests there were the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Pridnestrovian Settlement Process Franco Frattini, the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev, the Chargé D'affaires ad Interim of Ukraine in Moldova Vladimir Boyechko, the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau at the U.S. Department George Kent and also the Head of the US and Canada Division of The European External Action Service (EEAS) Richard Tibbels.
Interlocutors discussed an opportunity to stimulate negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova which slowed down since February of this year. According to Vitaly Ignatiev, interaction with the political representative of the RM goes only at the level of correspondence.
The Foreign Minister of the PMR also noted that offers of the Pridnestrovian side on holding some meetings within expert groups had not been supported in Chisinau.
«I hope that we will see a change in approaches of our partners just from now», – Ignatiev emphasized.
In turn, Franco Frattini noted the positive nature of the last meeting with the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky.
«We heard readiness in continuing of the positive dialogue with Chisinau», – the Italian diplomat told.
During the discussion, Vitaly Ignatiev paid special attention to the question connected with realization of the mechanism of participation of the Pridnestrovian motor transport in the international traffic. According to him, there are obstacles to the full realization of the mechanism.
It should be reminded; the authorities of the RM refuse to allow into the EU cars on neutral numbers without the Moldavian driver's licenses.
Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized the need of an exception of any discriminating factors, first of all, problems of driver's licenses, and urged to make practical efforts for ensuring access to the international traffic of all citizens of the PMR.
Among relevant, the questions connected with need of implementation of the arrangement in the field of telecommunications, functioning of the bridge through the Dniester near villages the Bîcioc and Gura Bîcului and also import to Pridnestrovie medicines were raised during the meeting. Along with it, Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized the long ago imminent need of advance concerning the termination of politically motivated criminal cases.
