Rybnitsa, July 10. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Moldova Steel Works became the participant of the X international METES-2019 exhibition. The world's largest metallurgical industry forum took place in Düsseldorf (Germany) at the end of June and brought together more than 600 enterprises from 34 countries. This year innovative production technologies and processing, environmental protection, rational use of resources and energy efficiency became the main subjects.
The Pridnestrovian plant had a separate stand. Moldova Steel Works acquainted visitors not only with the production but also with Pridnestrovie in general and the new investment legislation of the Republic particularly.
«Such exhibitions are held every four years. The exhibition itself is really huge, 12 pavilions from 17 are involved. We have been exposed in Düsseldorf for the second year, it is important too», – the CEO of the Moldova Steel Works Sergey Kornev noted in an interview to the First Pridnestrovian Channel.
It should be reminded, last year the Moldova Steel Works became participants of the production technologies international exhibition and automation METAV 2018.
This time the Moldova Steel Works stand in expo centre of Düsseldorf was visited by representatives of more than 100 companies from 21 countries.
«The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov came to our stand at the meeting. We got acquainted, I told about the plant, – Sergey Kornev noded. – The main objective of this delegation was to obtain maximum information in order to define the next year strategy accurately. In general, the task is to develop long-term programs».
The Moldova Steel Works brought from Germany new ideas on the modernization of the enterprise. Negotiations with firms are already being conducted.
The METEC exhibition unites the largest producers of the equipment for the metallurgical industry, suppliers of technology solutions, consumers of steel products, industry experts. Within METEC there took place seminars, symposiums, lectures and the presentations in which professionals of the metallurgical industry from all over the world participated. This year there were 72 thousand visitors at the exhibition.
