Tiraspol, May, 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. From May 7, there is introduced 10 rubles commemorative coin of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank “P.A. Shcherbinko - Hero of the Soviet Union (1904-1986)" of Heroes of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War series.

Each commemorative coin is made of 925 silver, has an identification certificate (passport), is packed in a transparent capsule and is presented in a case.

The press service of the Pridnestrovian Bank reports that circulation was 250 pieces.

Information of the Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency: Pavel Andreevich Shcherbinko was born on November 28, 1904 in Tiraspol. A veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant Colonel Shcherbinko went through half of Europe, from the Khmelnytsky region to the shores of the Baltic Sea, where he met the Great Victory.
