Tiraspol, April, 2. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Representatives of the Pridnestrovian society of the Polish culture «Yasna Gura» took part in the closing of the stock «Help to Poles in the East». Its final took place last week in Poland in the presence of the President and the top officials of the country and also with the participation of the guests from Belarus and Ukraine.
The start of action was given last year. Then the delegation headed by the Head of Administration of the President of Poland visited Pridnestrovie. The current visit became reciprocal. Participating in a final ceremony, representatives of «Yasna Gura» told about our republic and also performed several musical compositions.
«It was enough excitingly. At first, I was afraid to perform in front of the President, the ambassador, such important people, but in the middle of a song, the fear vanished. It was really pleasant, the President of Poland greeted me, and his wife told that she regrets her daughter did not study in music school», – Carolina Gruzina shared impressions.
«We were given a very cordial welcome and hospitable, the President shook hands, praised us, that was really pleasant. When there we come, we try to tell more about Pridnestrovie: who we are, where we are from. Poles are open in communication, and each time it is visible that they have already know about Pridnestrovie little more», – Igor Galatonov added.
Last summer within the opening of the stock «Help to Poles in the East» our republic was visited by a delegation headed by the Head of Administration of the President of Poland. The same year the centre of the Polish culture was opened in Tiraspol. The society «Yasna Gura» is 15 years. All these years it holds different events aimed at maintaining the Polish culture and support of the fellow countrymen living in the republic.
«Both children and adults come to classes in Polish. Also, we study national Polish songs, the Koraliki ensemble is created, we are often invited to Poland, we go also to Chisinau. We study our dances – the polonaise, krakowiak. Last year we, at last, have had own room, and for many it as the second house», – the Head of the organization, Natalya Sinyavskaya told.
