Tiraspol, March, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Moscow hosted the International Economic Forum “CIS: Digital Economy - Platform for Integration.” It was attended by thousands of participants from the States Members of the Commonwealth, the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of authorities, chambers of commerce and banking communities, economists.
Within the framework of the forum, the International Assembly of CIS Capitals and Major Cities summed up the results of XI International Review-Competition of the Urban Practices of the CIS and the EEU cities “City that You Want to Live In.”
The Pridnestrovian capital won various nominations and was awarded diplomas. In particular, for creating conditions for the central city market renovation, for implementing a set of measures to prevent children's road traffic injuries, for organizing comprehensive psychological and pedagogical support for students` professional identity in difficult life situations, and for organizing children`s civil-patriotic education (municipal project I am Proud of You, my Pridnestrovie!).
In addition, diplomas were awarded to the Children's Scientific and Pedagogical Institute (for organizing additional education in a circle orientation on modeling, creating and decorating clothes of different styles and directions) and School No. 11 (for an integrated approach to the development of the humanitarian component of the educational process).
Tiraspol Humanities and Mathematics Gymnasium received the award for organizing the activities of the school museum, while the theoretical lyceum received the award for implementing Lyceum Off Campus School for University Students practice.
As noted on the Tiraspol state administration website, Tiraspol has been participating in a review-competition for the fourth year, each time presenting new interesting municipal practices to the members of the tender committee.
