Tiraspol, March, 1. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR MFA press service reports that a meeting of experts in the field of health and customs issues, initiated by the Pridnestrovian side, was held today at the office of the OSCE Mission in Chisinau.
The meeting was devoted to discussing the issue of detention of drugs and medical products belonging to Pridnestrovian commercial companies travelling to Pridnestrovie through the Kuchurgan checkpoint.
“The Pridnestrovian side urged representatives of the Republic of Moldova not to create unmotivated obstacles to the import of the mentioned socially important goods of Pridnestrovie. The parties agreed that the establishment of adequate cooperation between the customs authorities of Moldova and Pridnestrovie could contribute to improving the conditions for foreign economic activity of the economic entities of the two countries” - the statement says.
