Tiraspol, February, 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met the Deputy Head of the U.S. Embassy to Moldova Martin McDowell.
Interlocutors discussed the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, in particular, the prospects of overcoming a pause in dialogue in the context of the Moldavian parliamentary elections, the Press Service of the MFA reports.
The Foreign Minister of the PMR emphasized the need for responsible execution of already signed arrangements, including concerning telecommunications and closing of politically motivated criminal cases concerning citizens of Pridnestrovie.
Vitaly Ignatiev expressed the readiness of the Pridnestrovian side for the continuation of direct views exchange practice on a wide range of topical issues.
