PMR PRESIDENT ABOUT NEGOTIATION PROCESS WITH RM: CONCILIATORY ATTITUDE TO EACH OTHER WITHOUT CONCESSIONS IS NECESSARY

According to Vadim Krasnoselski, decisions should be made on the basis of consensus

Tiraspol, February, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Recently, there has been a positive trend in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Meanwhile, if 2017 was the year of reaching agreements, and 2018 was the beginning of their implementation, then 2019 should be the year of pragmatic solutions aimed at improving people's lives. This was stated by the head of state Vadim Krasnoselski, who spoke at the extended panel of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry.

According to the President, in order to preserve positive trend in the negotiation process, conciliatory attitude of Tiraspol and Chisinau to each other is necessary, but “without cavalry raids and hasty decisions, without any concessions from one side or the other”.

“Concessions are counterproductive things, because when other politicians come, they, as a rule, cancel all concessions. And when decisions are made on the basis of consensus, then they are always welcome by everyone” - the head of state emphasized.

Vadim Krasnoselski also noted that Pridnestrovie and Moldova had a homework that the parties must finish. This is, above all, the achievement of those decisions on which the lives of ordinary people depend.

“It is necessary that the agreements reached be implemented both in the Moldovan and Pridnestrovian legislation and become the norm of the day. And then we will move on to the next stage of our development” - the head of state concluded.
