Tiraspol, February, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia Oleg Vasnetsov took part in the enlarged meeting of the board of the Pridnestrovie foreign affairs agency. The diplomat noted the great work done by the Foreign Ministry on the track of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement. According to him, this is reflected both in the intensity of the expert dialogue between the parties, and in the consultations “at the senior management level of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova”.
“Our regular communication with colleagues makes it possible to clearly formulate proposals and recommendations for meetings in the “5 + 2” format, to better understand what issues in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement have been excluded, and on which it is necessary to work further. At the same time, it is obvious: the protection of our interests requires accuracy, prudence, coordination of efforts. Only this way can we avoid involvement in the games of our foreign policy detractors” - the Russian diplomat emphasized.
At the same time, Oleg Vasnetsov touched upon the work of the consular service in Tiraspol, expressing gratitude for the proposals to improve its efficiency. According to him, the common challenge of both Russian and Pridnestrovian diplomats is to do everything possible to meet the needs of applicants, without delay.
“Russian and Pridnestrovian diplomacy shares many things in common. And the main thing that unites us is the readiness to make every effort to protect the Motherland and the people.
