Tiraspol, February, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR MFA press service reports that today, February 11 Leonid Manakov, Head of the Pridnestrovian Representation Office in Moscow, met with the leadership of the International Association of Russian-speaking Lawyers (IARL).
The meeting was attended by the President of IARL, the President of the Russian Lawyers Guild, the Rector of the Russian Academy of Lawyers and Notaries, the Doctor of Law, Professor Hasan Mirzoev, the First Vice-President of IARL, the Executive Secretary of the International Council of Russian Compatriots (ICRC) Mikhail Neborski, the Vice-President - Deputy Executive Secretary of IARL Sergey Gubenkov, as well as the President of the Russian Academy of Lawyers and Notaries Gennady Cheremnykh.
The interlocutors discussed the main areas of cooperation of the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie with IARL and ICRC, primarily in the field of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Pridnestrovian residents at international sites, as well as promoting the development of humanitarian and economic relations of the PMR with Russia and foreign countries.
They agreed to hold meetings in a similar format on a regular basis.
On January 22, in Moscow there was opened the Official Representative Office of the PMR. It is located on 11 Povarskaya Street, office No. 35 (Arbat district). In addition to the staff of the institution, official meetings and events, including reception of citizens, will be held at this site during working visits to Moscow by the President of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the executive and legislative branches of power of the republic. Vladimir Ladunkin from Tiraspol became the first visitor to the representative office.
