Tiraspol, January, 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today in Moscow the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie has solemnly opened. The President of the PMR with the spouse, senators and deputies of the Russian Federation State Duma, the Pridnestrovian, Russian, Abkhazian, South Ossetia and Nagorno-Karabakh diplomats, social activists, experts, scientists took part in the ceremony.
The Head of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Representation of the PMR in Moscow the operating platform which will carry out complex functionality of tasks.
«The Representation will hold official working meetings of the President and other heads of authorities, legislators, carry out roundtables, conferences, briefings, communication with experts of the Russian Federation. And, of course, the important component is work with our citizens who live in Russia. It should be noted that we have a very big diaspora of compatriots who quite long time live in Russia. These are the people standing at the origins of the creation of Pridnestrovie, who made much in order that the republic lived and developed. They are active, render assistance at the different levels, including in establishment of public relations between Pridnestrovie and Russia. It is pleasant that today they are at the opening ceremony of Representation», - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized.
Leonid Manakov also spoke about tasks of representation. According to him, it will develop social, economic relations, to advance questions of culture, sport, to organize meetings that people knew and understood in what conditions the people of Pridnestrovie lives.
«Vadim Nikolaevich Krasnoselsky noted that today there is the PMR Development Strategy for the long-term period. It is extremely important. In this Strategy, the idea is put. Fedor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky and even earlier Confucius said that if there is no state idea, if there is no idea in society, then this state cannot exist and such society is doomed to failure. We should bring to the foreign states an essence and contents of the PMR Development Strategy to show them that Pridnestrovie has the right to independence. We should develop available and to establish new relations in trade, culture, in all spheres that it went for the benefit of the people of Pridnestrovie», - Leonid Manakov explained.
