Tiraspol, January, 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On behalf of the Presidents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, diplomats of fraternal republics congratulated Pridnestrovie on the important event - the opening of PMR official representative office in Moscow.
“On behalf of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia I have the honor to congratulate you on the occasion of the opening of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic that we have friendly and fraternal relations with. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the office success for the benefit of the PMR, success in developing and strengthening Russian-Pridnestrovian relations. Since there is the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia here, we are willing to actively cooperate with the Pridnestrovian office in order to advance our common interests. I want to congratulate and wish all the best to the representative office, and to your beautiful people, to whom we all are brotherly” - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation Igor Akhba said.
On behalf of the President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, the Ambassador of the Republic to the Russian Federation Gassiev Znaur addressed the head of the Pridnestrovian state.
“The opening of the Social and Cultural Relations Development Fund, which will serve as the Official Representation of the PMR in Moscow, will undoubtedly help strengthen ties with the main security guarantor and ally of the Pridnestrovian people of the Russian Federation, as well as enhance the international image of Pridnestrovie. Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia have passed a difficult, thorny path, protecting the rights of their peoples to free development. We are bound by fraternal ties, constructive cooperation and mutual support. Convincing evidence of the high level of relations between South Ossetia and Pridnestrovie are the official representative offices of our countries operating in Tskhinval and Tiraspol, as well as a solid legal and contractual framework covering the political, trade, economic, social, humanitarian and cultural spheres. I am convinced that a representative office opening in Moscow will give a new impetus to the relations of Pridnestrovie with its friends in Russia and abroad. Taking this opportunity, on behalf of South Ossetia, I would like to congratulate the Pridnestrovian people on this event and wish the office success in their work” - Ambassador Gassiev Znaur read out a welcoming address of RSO head.
