OSCE CHAIRPERSON-IN-OFFICE, HEAD OF SLOVAKIA FOREIGN MINISTRY MIRSLAV LAYCHAK WILL VISIT PRIDNESTROVIE ON JANUARY 18

The head of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova Klaus Neukirch announced this today in Tiraspol

Tiraspol, January, 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Laychak will visit Pridnestrovie on January 18. The head of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova, Klaus Neukirch, told that reporters after a meeting with Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev. 

Klaus Neukirch noted that Laychak scheduled a meeting with PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski and Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev in Tiraspol.  

The head of the OSCE mission in the Republic of Moldova also said that the post of special representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office on the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement would remain with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.  

“We welcomed this decision. We will continue to work with Mr. Frattini within the framework of the parameters that we have already defined and which proved to be highly effective at the end of last year” - Vitaly Ignatiev, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Pridnestrovie commented on the news about the Special Representative appointment.
