PRIDNESTROVIE EXPECTS GROWTH OF THE INVESTMENTS INTO MINING

The Government plans to create in the republic the 100 MW mining farm

Tiraspol, December, 16. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Prime Minister Alexander Martynov told during the big interview to two the TV channels that the investments into cryptocurrency mining in Pridnestrovie are attracted.

"We adopted rather liberal law which stimulates miners activity in the PMR. We protected them from the legal relationship with our taxation system. It is necessary for miners only to buy the electric power in Pridnestrovie. At the same time, we do not administer their income and we have no claims to them. The law stated the creation of the special free economic zone, and these conditions are better than in other countries", - the Prime Minister explained.

Besides, for such power-intensive process as mining, Pridnestrovie is ready to offer rather cheap electric power, using uninvolved production capacities of MHPS.

"The more miners there are in the republic, the higher the MHPS loading is, the more revenues of the station are, so the tax deductions increases and more revenues to the special gas account from which the deficit of the Pridnestrovian budget is financed are made. So far our plans are to charge up the MHPS on 50, or better 100 MW. For our budget, it is an essential income, and it has already been put in the Draft of the Budget for the next year. Today in the Republic [mining farms] from 5 to 7 MW are placed and we plan further growth next year", - Alexander Martynov noted.
