Tiraspol, December, 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The International Volunteer Forum will takes place in Moscow from 2 to 5 December. The event will be attended by 15 thousand volunteers from 120 countries. Among them, there are representatives from Pridnestrovie - a group of specialists from the party “Renewal” for youth affairs and activists of the movement “Youth Renewal”, who had already participated in volunteer projects.
There are numerous discussions, meetings with representatives of government bodies and non-governmental organizations, master classes, intellectual games, and cultural events being held at the forum.
According to the press service of the “Renewal” party, Pridnestrovian delegation had already attended several trainings and sessions. “Volunteering development strategy in the urban environment”, “Best practices of volunteer work in institutions”, “Searching for missing persons is everyone`s business”, “Territorial development volunteers”, “Intercultural communication” are just some of the discussion topics.
“There are the most different directions of volunteering work presented: medical professionals demonstrate how to render first aid to the injured; a number of environmentalists show films about Russian nature reserves; nearby someone learns Russian language in a game; a little further you can register and immediately have an interview to become a volunteer in Kazan in 2019, which will take over the WorldSkills World Professional Skills Championship” - Yulia Pleshko, head of the Renewal Party Central Office’s department for youth affairs, said.
At the forum, meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Education Minister Olga Vasilyeva had already been held. The closing ceremony of the forum is expected to be attended by the President Vladimir Putin.
