Tiraspol, 10 September. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today within the second visit to Pridnestrovie the special representative of OSCE chairman Franco Frattini has held a meeting with the management of Pridnestrovian MFA and has also visited Tiraspol registration point of vehicles (RPoV).
We will remind that RPoVs have been opened on September 1 in Tiraspol and Rybnitsa. They have worked in the test mode until today. Today in Tiraspol RPoV first three licence plates granting the right to Pridnestrovians on the motor transport to participate in the international traffic have been issued. As Franco Frattini handing licence plates and temporary registration certificate to them (editorial comment: constant ones will be handed a month later – after obtaining answers from the database of the Interpol regarding existence of the car in search) has noted, now Chisinau will have to inform all countries, first of all neighboring to Pridnestrovie and Moldova, about the changed status of the Pridnestrovian motor transport.
At the same time the Italian diplomat has emphasized that today's event became possible only thanks to fruitful interaction at the different levels of Tiraspol and Chisinau. "When I received this mandate, I have told that OSCE can only help the parties. Neither Vienna, nor Rome (editorial comment: this year Italy presides in OSCE) won't replace effort and desire of the parties", - Franco Frattini has told about it.
Franco Frattini, political representatives of Transnistria and Moldova Vitaly Ignatyev and Christina Lesnik (editorial comment: respectively – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of PMR and the Deputy Prime Minister of RM, who have opened Tiraspol RPoV on September 1), heads of the OSCE and the EU Missions Klaus Neukirch and Peter Michalko, ambassadors of Russia and USA Oleg Vasnetsov and James Pettit were acquainted in details with work of Tiraspol RPoV. At the same time, it was possible to observe online what happens on similar RPoV in Rybnitsa on the monitor installed in Tiraspol RPoV.
Among persons who received neutral numbers this day – one legal and two natural persons. After achieving of the licence plate the CEO of LLC Intercentrlux Tatyana Kindyashkova has noticed that the enterprise works with many European countries therefore obtaining this licence plate will allow to develop and strengthen relations with foreign partners further. In turn, one of two neutral licence plates of private car owners Oleg Antoneskul has noticed in an interview to journalists that he wishes to travel by car. In particular, he dreams to visit Greece where he lived in due time again. By his own recognition, the fact that he became one of the first owners of licence plates granting the right of departure to foreign countries was a matter of luck. "I have come to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency with other question. Here I have been also prompted that it is possible to get in line for these licence plates", - Oleg Antoneskul has told.
In total today in both RPoVs more than 2 thousand car owners are registered in waiting list for obtaining neutral registration signs. We will remind that RPoVs work Tuesday through Saturday.
