Tiraspol, 6 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. As part of the official visit to Abkhazia, Pridnestrovie's interior ministry held a meeting with his Abkhazian colleague. The meeting was also attended by the head of Pridnestrovie's official mission in the Republic of Abkhazia Garry Kupalba, Abkhazian deputy interior ministers Levan Kuartzkhia and Edita Tsvinaria, the PMR interior ministry's press service cites the Abkhazian colleagues as reporting.
Welcoming the guest, Abkhazian interior minister Garry Arshba stressed that the interaction of law enforcement structures of Abkhazia and the PMR had great prospects. A bilateral agreement on cooperation between the interior ministries of Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie was signed in July 2011.
Having paid tribute to the memory of the heroes of the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia of 1992-1993. - the policemen who gave their lives in the line of duty, the ministers laid flowers to the memorial wall to the fallen officers of the Interior Ministry of Abkhazia.
The prospects for further cooperation between the interior ministries of Abkhazia and the PMR were discussed during the meeting. The participants exchanged experience in training the personnel, discussed the level of requirements for the professional skills of police officers, as well as targeted directions for the logistics of law enforcement agencies.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers exchanged souvenirs. Ruslan Mova thanked his Abkhazian colleague for the reception and noted that each meeting with Abkhazian colleagues expands the level of interaction and cooperation.
