Tiraspol, January 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie is going to continue the active political and diplomatic work this year and to address the issues included in the negotiation agenda on 2018 as soon as possible. The tasks and in some cases also the implementation timeline of agreements reached by Chisinau and Tiraspol in front of the guarantors, the mediators and the observers are accurately stated in the Vienna Protocol. The sides signed this document following the results of the meeting in the 5+2 format in Vienna (Austria) on November 26-27.

As the Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatyev noted on the air of the First Pridnestrovian TV channel, negotiators have to implement the arrangements signed by the sides in November, 2017. What is meant here is the solution of problematic issues in the field of telecommunication and recognition of the Pridnestrovie's university diplomas abroad due to the fact that the apostilization mechanism of the Pridnestrovian diplomas in practice hasn't worked yet.

The Chisinau-Tiraspol agreement to enact the mechanism of involvement of the Pridnestrovie's motor transport in the international traffic by the end of February of this year is also on the agenda.

"We shall resolve this issue till March 1. We shall speed up this work to come to the concrete solutions in the nearest future. After a break in several weeks on January 24, the meeting of the relevant expert (working) group was held for the first time this year," the Foreign Minister emphasized.

The sides promised to work out this mechanism during the Vienna meeting.

According to Vitaly Ignatyev, such mechanism will break the despair circle when Moldova signs, but doesn't execute dozens of agreements signed during the long history of the negotiation process.

"If Chisinau observed all arrangements, there wouldn't be so many problems. We will make efforts to develop the guaranteeing mechanism, alternatively the negotiation process will be infinite. And again, the guaranteeing mechanism will eliminate any pressure as it runs counter to the principles of negotiations and reached agreements. It will be possible to make the negotiations fast-paced, consistent and productive," the Pridnestrovian diplomat emphasized.

One more humanitarian and legal issue of the Berlin Protocol and then the Vienna one to be considered by the negotiators this year. It is the settlement of an issue concerning the politically motivated criminal cases and also the issues of movement freedom, railway work resumption, banks interaction, use of the Tiraspol airfield by civil aviation.

"I hope that we will exchange our views with Chisinau on all issues during the first meeting between the political representatives. We are ready for this meeting and have made a relevant offer. I expect that the Moldovan side will respond to it," Vitaly Ignatyev noted.

The Foreign Minister hoped that active participation of the Italian OSCE Presidency in the negotiation process and the use of the 5+2 platform will provide a platform for discussion of all issues, their solution and to involvement of the international partners who can create necessary conditions in order that all agreements were observed strictly.

"Pridnestrovie is an unfailing participant of the negotiation process and it is responsible for those signatures and decisions made during the negotiation process. I hope that today's Chisinau will answer with the same approach," Vitaly Ignatyev told.
