Tiraspol, 14 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Electric motors by Elektromash, which are used in pumping units, were successfully put into operation at the Transneft facility Tikhoretskaya according to the Yug [South] project.
The project involves the reconstruction of the trunk pipelines Tikoretsk-Novorossiysk, Elektromash's press service reports.
The purpose of the implementation of the project Yug has been the supply of diesel fuel in the amount of up to 6 mln tonnes per year from Tikhoretsk to the seaport of Novorossiysk.
The entire work, including the development of design documentation and quality plans, the manufacturing and commisioning tests of motors, was carried out under the strict control of Elektromash engineers.
The Yug project is an important step in increasing exports of high-quality clean oil products.
The southern direction of Russia's oil exports is becoming very important. Soon not only oil but also the products of Russian refineries will be exported through the Novorossiysk seaport, which will help to redirect export flows from foreign to Russian seaports.
