Sergey Uskov wins bronze at European Taekwondo Championships

Representatives of 30 countries took part in the competition

Tiraspol, 11 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Bulgaria hosted the European Taekwondo Championships in the Olympic weight categories. Representatives of 30 European state took part in the competition, the website of the State Sport Agency reports.

In the weight category of up to 58 kg, there were 34 contenders, among whom was Sergey Uskov from Tiraspol.

Having defeated fighters from Russia, Belarus and Moldova in the first three rounds, he suffered a minimum defeat to Russia's Mikhail Artamonov in the semi-final.

The Pridnestrovian athlete won a bronze medal, which is a high achievement at the European level. The trainee of Tiraspol coach Yury Lesovoy has continued a series of successful performances at top-level international competitions.
