Russian MP: Today, someone gains from creating such conflicts

Tiraspol, July 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Russian MP Mikhail Kozlov called actions of Romania and Moldova against the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin and the citizens of Russia a provocation and purposeful incitement of the conflict.

«It is a provocation. Dmitry Rogozin is the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President who deals with the peacekeeping forces and the problem concerning Pridnestrovie in general… Today, someone gains from creating such conflicts which then can escalate to the international conflicts," Kozlov told during the communication with the press after the flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the Peacekeeper in Bendery.

The Federation Council member also noted a special role of the peacekeepers in maintaining of stability in the region.

«Peace is rather fragile entity. One needs literally two seconds to break it. And to keep stability in the region, we need the peacekeeping forces guaranteeing peaceful life in Pridnestrovie today," he noted.

The deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artyom Turov has also told about the role of the peacekeeping operation in Pridnestrovie.

«The mission which works here is a real guarantor of peace and stability, and we continue supporting it further," he noted.
