Tiraspol, 13 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Ukraine's decision banning the transit of certain goods through the PMR has been suspended, the minister of economic development, Sergey Obolonik, said during a press briefing on Tuesday.

«This process has been suspended as there is no mechanism to issue veterinary certificates to our transit cargoes. Ukraine's decision has not been repealed but suspended. So, there seems to be no problem at the moment, but it may re-emerge at the click of a finger," said Obolonik.

According to the minister, this problem is related to the fact that Moldova does not recognise Pridnestrovie-issued phytosanitary and veterinary documents.

«In the event of mutual recognition, we'd have no problems with Ukraine. Our veterinary documents would suffice to allow the passage of our goods," explained Obolonik.

According to him, Russia, in the person of Mr Onischenko, is ready to consult with Moldovan officials about the above certificates, but at the same time, he said, it is impossible to predict when Moldova will be ready to come to agreement.
