Tiraspol, 20 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last weekend Tiraspol's Mir entertainment centre was the host of the modern dance competition UNITED HIP-HOP CUP. About 400 dancers from Pridnestrovie, Moldova and Ukraine were performing jazz-funk, break dance and other dancingstyles.
According to the jury, it was very difficult to determine the winner as each of them has its own assessment criteria and vision of modern dance. But, as they say, all kids presented their dances up to the mark.
«I am very pleased that children are engaged in developing the dancing culture of hip hop. We've seen very cool kids both among beginners and in other leagues," said referee Diana Fedorovskaya from Kiev.
All contestants were granted diplomas. And the first-place cup went to a duo of dancers from Kishinev.
It should be noted there are plans to hold this competition every year and expand the geography of its participants.
