Tiraspol, February 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A field training competition among sniper teams was held in the Operational Group of Russain Forces in Pridnestrovie.
Competition participants carried out speed and accuracy shooting and, after physical activities, hostage-terrorist traget shooting with the only bullet in magazine. The also executed retargeting fire with range from 80 to 300 m, the Western Military District Press Service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
15 snipers were admitted to the competition. Previously, they were given classes on the bases and rules of firing, on AK-74 and SVD equipment, and also on the weapon safety instructions.
The military personnel who took prizes will represent the OFRF in the competition of snipers among the defence and law enforcement agencies of the republic.
