“The Pridnestrovian people isn’t an aggressor, but a defender” – Vadim Krasnoselsky

At the same time, the Armed Forces should be given a due attention, the PMR President believes

Tiraspol, July 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie doesn’t pose any threat to anyone, but the Armed Forces’ development should be given due attention, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized during a traditional press conference on the Republic Day’s eve.

The head of state emphasized that the Pridnestrovian army is a school of life, where young people learn discipline and other important things.

“Our task isn’t simply to draft young people into the Armed Forces, there they’ll be practicing the military pace for a year and then they’ll leave. No, it’s out of the question. It’s to teach people how to survive in modern conditions, in the conditions of modern buttle. It’s to teach new technologies, to teach them to be defenders of their motherland, their families, and ultimately themselves. But I want to repeat, the Pridnestrovian people aren’t an aggressor, we haven’t threatened anyone,” Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.

It should be reminded that new forms as well as methods of training are being introduced in the PMR Armed Forces, taking into account the peculiarities of modern combat and the latest digital technologies. The small infantry groups’ tactics, the unmanned aerial vehicles’ using, interaction with artillery units are being mastered. Special attention is paid to tactical medicine. Infrastructure is being modernized. Moreover, the new conditions of military service have made it possible to practically eliminate the bullying phenomenon.
